P r ů m s t a v , a.s. succeeded Průmstav s.r.o. on 28th February 1997. The joint stock company (a.s.) is the legal successor to the cancelled limited company (s.r.o.) and it has taken on board all the obligations and rules of the cancelled company Průmstav spol. s r.o.
FCC - První česká projekční a stavební, a.s. was established on 30th July 1991, owned by VINCI Construction S.A.S. by 100%.
The planned merger of the companies PRŮMSTAV, a.s. and FCC - První česká projekční a stavební, a.s. was completed on the 1st June 2009, both of them being members of the VINCI group. The merging of these two companies into Průmstav, a.s. (a company wholly owned by VINCI CONSTRUCTION S.A.S.), led directly to floatation of the new company.
